Bacteria, viruses, Fungus are all around us always. They are in the air that we breath and on every surface we touch. Our own skin is home to great number of living organisms that thrive and call us home.

Our body is very good at keeping invading organisms out but in the event of an injury those natural defences are by passed and the organisms can gain entry and cause problems.

During our foot care procedures we must make sure that any instruments used are sterile and contain no organisms that can harm us. Each instrument is sterilised at a temperature of 134 degrees then transported to the patients home in a way that they remain sterile.

At the end of each treatment the instruments are scrubbed to remove any debris, sonic cleaned to remove any unseen debris then sterilised again at very high temperatures.
